Trading My Sorrows Meaning

Trading my Sorrow is a song by Darrell Evans and it is a compilation worship music of him “The Best of Darrell Evans” and released in 2002.

When you feel sorrow instantly, put it on the hand of our God. Remember His death and resurrection sets us free indeed. Our world is full of sins but as long you put yourself on God no one can destroy you. We our child of God, and we will be with Him forever. Don’t allow sorrows to destroy and interrupt your joy knowing this.

Trade everything, give up your sorrows, give up something better or more value to you. God gives us peace, joy in our heart and soul when we allow Him to work in our lives.

Realize that only God can save us from our sins. Accept Him as our savior. Let us come to the place of our God. Trade everything that we have got for the joy of our God.

Lyrics:

I’m trading my sorrow
I’m trading my shame
I’m laying them down for the joy of the Lord

I’m trading my sickness
I’m trading my pain
I’m laying them down for the joy of the Lord

Chorus
And we say yes Lord yes Lord yes yes Lord
Yes Lord yes Lord yes yes Lord
Yes Lord yes Lord yes yes Lord Amen

I’m pressed but not crushed persecuted not abandoned
Struck down but not destroyed
I’m blessed beyond the curse for his promise will endure
And his joy’s gonna be my strength

Though the sorrow may last for the night
His joy comes with the morning

Matthew 11:29-30“Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light”
