Above All Meaning

The song “Above All” is composed by Lenny LeBlanc and Paul Baloche in 1995. It’s sung by the christian singer, Michael W. Smith. “Above all” is known as  contemporary Christian song and Lenny Leblac received a dove award for the song .

Above all is all about the Greatness of our God , the lyrics of the song want to tell us that our God is above all, no one is higher and greater than Him.  We could not imagine what he can do for us, and yet, above all else never forget us, dying for us.

“Above all kingdoms, above all thrones.
Above all wonders the world has ever known.
Above all wealth and treasures of the earth.
There’s no way to measure what you’re worth

Crucified, laid behind the stone.
You lived to die, rejected and alone
Like a rose, trampled on the ground.
You took the fall and thought of me, above all”

Although the last sentence of the song contradict the other line it is because it’s a way to say us that God was willing to be crucified to save us and to demonstrate His love for us . This is the best part to show us that God is the truth, God is all above , God proved us that His creatures are under with his power and God must be on top… Above All.
